Con il suo modello di studio flessibile "blended learning", la Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) è l'e-university leader in Svizzera.

La FFHS è una Scuola universitaria professionale (SUP) accreditata a livello istituzionale con sede centrale a Briga e sedi a Zurigo, Berna, Basilea e San Gallo.

Con il suo modello di studio "Blended Learning", la FFHS ha oltre 25 anni di esperienza nella formazione digitale e consente ai suoi attuali 2.800 studenti di studiare in modo indipendente dal tempo e dal luogo.

Il programma di studi comprende nove corsi di laurea e quattro di master, oltre a circa 70 corsi di formazione continua nei settori dell'economia e della tecnologia, dell'informatica, della salute e dell'e-learning.

Nei suoi tre istituti di ricerca, la FFHS conduce ricerche orientate all'applicazione nei settori della scienza del web, del management e dell'innovazione, della salute e dell'e-learning ed è titolare di una cattedra UNESCO per l'apprendimento a distanza personalizzato e adattivo.

The flexible 'blended learning' study model of the Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) combines online study with face-to-face classes, allowing for a largely self-determined learning experience and personal time management.

The FFHS is an institutionally accredited university of applied sciences (UAS) with headquarters in Brig and locations in Zurich, Berne, Basel and St. Gallen.
Since 2004, the FFHS has been an affiliated school of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and is integrated into SUPSI's overall strategy.

The SUPSI Student Association


Created in 2017, the SUPSI Student Association aims to promote university life for the SUPSI student community.

It aims to be a representative body for students within the Departments, the affiliated Schools and the SUPSI Management, promoting student participation in institutional life.

It is coordinated by the steering committee, composed of SUPSI students, which promotes and manages all the activities proposed by the Association, of a recreational, sporting and personal and professional development nature. Through its activities, the Association aims to encourage interdisciplinarity and foster the development of networks, not only among students, but also with partners in the region.

Open days/evenings are held between January and March each year, during which, for example, the content of the course, professional outlets and the admission procedure are presented. It is also possible to visit the campus and meet directly with students and lecturers.

SUPSI qualifications are valid both in Switzerland and worldwide. In regulated professions, SUPSI qualifications also qualify for the profession in Switzerland, while in other countries it is necessary to check with the relevant body for recognition.

You can take a semester an maximum one year at another university in Switzerland or abroad through related agreements. Find more information and reference contacts on the dedicated page.

They are a contribution to the costs of teaching (school materials, charges for visits, general administrative and secretarial costs, teaching and IT support, etc.).

Following the Bologna Reform, study courses have been structured into modules and each module is allocated a number of study credits according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). One ECTS credit is equivalent to a workload of 25 to 30 hours. 60 credits represent the annual workload in the case of full-time education. A Bachelor's degree requires 180 ECTS and a Master's degree 90 to 120 ECTS.
