Teacher professionalism
The degree programmes offered by the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education (DFA/ASP) share four macro areas of competence that define the professionalism of teachers, from nursery school to secondary II schools.
These macro areas constitute the skills profile that establishes the skills that students will have developed and consolidated by the end of their training and upon obtaining a university degree recognised by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (CDPE). These skills will enable graduates to embark on their professional careers independently.
